Hello everyone!
Hope all is good with you all and you are keeping warm during these very cold days we are having.
I wanted to share with you some of my recent work, in particular a beautiful project that I recently captured by design practice Koldo&Co located in the English countryside.
We planned for a full-day photoshoot, which meant hitting the road way before sunrise to make sure we could made the most out of the very limited amount of daylight we get in UK during the winter months.
The property, located in Oxshott, Surrey, is a large period family home, part of this area’s original manor, with stunning views to Surrey’s Hills.
Koldo and his team has completely redesigned the house, transforming it into a modern country chic family home for this young couple and their kid.
The weather was misty at the start of the day, providing me with a beautiful soft light for the images. As the day went along the winter sun came through filling the house with warm daylight enriching the already calm neutral palette of the rooms.
We focused solely on capturing the ground floor on this day. I used a combination of wide-angle captures to showcase the openness of the newly layouts created by Koldo&Co, as well as more details captures that showcase the unique design features and furnishings of the spaces.
As you can see, the property's beautiful design with its sophisticated contemporary aesthetic lent itself beautifully to be capture by my camera.
We will be returning in the New Year to photograph the upper level, I very much look forward to share those images with you soon.
